Brittany started her collegiate career at North Georgia College and State University.  Her Freshmen Year (2005), NGCSU garnered a GACC Championship and finished 5th in the nation.  As a Sophomore, Brittany posted a .556 slugging percentage and a .359 on base percentage. Brittany also ranked second on the team in homeruns and fourth in RBI.  Brittany went on to finish her collegiate career at Georgia Tech, where she became one of the most prolific power hitters in the ACC.  As a Junior Brittany had the following achievements:  Smashed a career-high 20 homeruns, tied for third best in ACC history... Drove in 73 runs, second-best in ACC history ... Selected to the NFCA All-Southeast Region second team ... Named ACC Player of the Week on April 30th after hitting three home runs and driving in 10 runs in a three-game series against Virginia ... Finished second in the ACC in RBI (third in the NCAA) and home runs (seventh in NCAA).  As a Senior Brittany led Tech and tied for first in the ACC with 12 homeruns. Brittany was also second on the team and ninth in the ACC with a .536 slugging percentage. Brittany also ranks third all-time at Georgia Tech in slugging percentage (.597) and fifth in homeruns (32).In 2008, Brittany was taken in the fourth round (23rd overall) of the National Pro Fastpitch Draft by the Akron Racers.  The following year Brittany was recruited by the Mannheim Tornados for the 2009 season.  The Tornados won the 2009 German Championship and Brittany was at the top of the league in homeruns and RBI.Brittany graduated from Georgia Tech in May 2009 with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
