What is an Under Armour/TPM Showcase Combine?
A  Showcase provides you with the ability to display your individual position specific skills.  A combine provides you with the ability to display your athletic and agility strengths through a series of tests.  The Under Armour Fastpitch Showcase Combines allow you to do both, in front of college coaches.

What are the benefits of attending a showcase combine?
To get noticed by one of our staff or by a college coach either at the event or through our recruiting program.  Your registration includes a basic membership and an online player profile visible to college coaches. Your event test results will be placed on your member dashboard and will indicate your strengths and weaknesses.  Your dashboard will show data comparisons and player rankings. UA gear will be given to you to wear during the event.

What is a player profile?
A player profile is an online resume of your personal, athletic, academic and contact information accessible to college coaches through the TPM web site.   All entry into our recruiting program is password protected.  
Note: When registering for a showcase or a combine it is important to complete the player profile form.

What is the benefit of upgrading from a basic membership?
A membership upgrade allows you to upload recruiting video footage and photos to your profile page and have access to our college notification system.

What is a college notification system?
Our notification system allows you to connect with colleges, research their programs and notify their coaches of your interest.  

What is a media package?
Media packages are offered to our combine registrants as an add on,  During the combine a videographer will be on site capturing your skills.  The video footage from the event can be shot, edited and loaded to your profile page by our staff. The package includes one hard copy of the recruiting DVD and 50 notification credits.

What is a notification credit?
A notification credit is required to connect with a college coach expressing your interest in their program.  Once notified that coach receives a brief description of you and is able to view your video and profile page. You will see instant profile reports of which college coaches have viewed your profile page.

What equipment will I need?
You will need to bring your cleats, glove, bat, batting gloves, batting helmet and if you are a catcher, your catchers gear.

What will be provided at an Under Armour Combine?
You will receive a numbered Under Armour showcase t-shirt, a pair of Under Armour shorts and a pair of Under Armour socks which will represent your graduation year..

What time do I need to meet at the field?
You will receive a confirmation letter which will list the scheduled times for each position i.e. outfielders, infielders, catchers, pitchers.

What time do I need to meet at the field if I am ONLY pitching?
You will receive a confirmation letter which will list the scheduled times for each pitcher and the name of your assigned catcher. Pitchers and Catchers will need to check in at least 1 hour prior to their scheduled time.

What if I’m bringing my own catcher?
If you are bringing your own catcher or would like to request a particular registered showcase / combine catcher, you must make a notation on your registration form.

If I am a pitcher am I required to hit?
No, if you are only a pitcher you are not required to hit. You may attend the showcase and ONLY pitch.  If you are a pitched attending the UA combine you will be required to participate in the agility tests.

Will I have time to warm up before my scheduled session?
Yes. You will need to meet at the field for registration and check in.  A designated warm-up space will be provided at least 1 hour before your scheduled time.

What college coaches will be attending the showcase?
We cannot guarantee or control what colleges will send representatives to each event, however, we can provide you with a list of coaches in attendance following the event.

Where are showcases and combimes  located?
A list of all showcases an UA combines can be found on our homepage.

What is the price to attend a showcase or UA combine?
All combines are $150 to showcase one defensive position.

What is your event rain policy?
If there is a rain out for the scheduled day of the event, we will try to move the event to an indoor facility or the event will be re-scheduled to the following day.

What if I’ve registered and paid for a showcase or combine, but have decided not to attend?
The registration fee, which is due in full two weeks prior to each scheduled showcase, is non-refundable.

Note: You must first create a membership to The Pitcher’s Mound in order to register for any service.

Are their eligibility requirements to attend a showcase or UA combine?
You must be a rising high school freshman through senior to attend.

What is the showcase schedule/itinerary?
You will find a showcase sample itinerary listing the format and drills online at www.thepitchersmound.net.

Will I be able to communicate with the college coaches at the Showcase?
You will not be able to communicate with the college coaches at the showcase unless you are a junior in high school and it is on or after July 1, however we ask that parents and athletes do not approach any college coaches. If they wish to speak with you, they will take it upon themselves to approach you directly.

How do I find out my UA combine results?
Your results will be posted in your TPM member dashboard and will be posted on the Under Armour combine web site www.underarmour.com/combines
