Kristine Priebe is from Moorpark, Ca and is currently finishing her Public Policy degree at Georgia Tech. She began her college career at the University of Florida playing for Tim Walton and the Florida Gators and going to the Women’s College World Series for back to back seasons in 2008 and 2009 as a catcher/first baseman. She then transferred to Georgia Tech to play for Sharon Perkins and the Yellow Jackets for the 2010 and 2011 seasons as a first baseman. Some of her accomplishments include: 5 career grand slams…(2010) Ranked 8th in the ACC in batting average at .331 and 5th in slugging percentage at .657... Finished 3rd in the conference with a .491 on base percentage and 8th in hits with 55 on the year...Tied for 7th in the conference in runs scored with 36 and was 5th in total bases at 109... Was 42nd in the country and 3rd in the conference with 59 RBI...Posted 15 home runs on the year, 3rd best in the ACC...Was 6th in the conference with 34 walks and 1st in hit by pitches at 19... In the field, she finished 3rd in the conference with 396 putouts and was 1st in fielding double plays with 17…April 6th ACC Player of the Week…(2008-2009) Played in 20 games for the Gators in 2009, making nine starts ... As a freshman, saw action in 29 games and started seven times…(high school) A four-time All-Marmonte League honoree, earning first-team honors three straight years and second-team honors as a freshman ... Earned all-state and All-California Interscholastic Federation honors in 2006 ... Played travel ball for the So Cal Pumas in the summer of 2007... Went to ASA Gold Nationals with the So Cal Diamonds in 2006 ... In 2005, helped the 18-and-under Orange County Batbusters to the So Cal State Title and qualified for ASA Nationals ...
