Lacey IngramLacey was taught by premier softball pitching instructor Ernie Parker (former coach of Lisa Fernandez, 1996 & 2000 Olympic team member) and Diane Lewis (Ernie Parker's Protégé and owner of one of the largest softball schools in Southern California). In 2001, Lacey was the assistant head coach at Statesboro H.S. in charge of all pitching instruction.
Lacey was All CIF and City of Torrance, CA Female Athlete of the Year with a 0.25 ERA in 1996 as a Junior at Torrance High School. Took 5th at ASA Gold Nationals in 1997 while playing with the California Cruisers and was signed to a Full Athletic Scholarship to Georgia Southern University. During her time at Georgia Southern (1998-2001), Lacey held the most saves as a freshman and was a member of Georgia Southern's 1999 Southern Conference Championship Team. In 2000 Lacey was voted Eagle Classic MVP.
Lacey graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business.
